Answer: A delta single handle (567) takes me 1/2 hour to install on a new vanity. That is fully trapped out from a cabinet that I roughed in. If I have to remove an older faucet add an hour(at least). If I have to replace stops add another 1/2 hour.

If you supply the faucet and I show up to find that it's the wrong faucet I charge $80. When I go back to install the same faucet once you swap it out for the right one it costs you another $80 for me to pull in the driveway. If I have to go back to tighten the cheap plastic faucet retaining nuts it's another $80. If the aerator slows water flow and I have to fix it… another $80. If your faucet has a manufacturer defect and ruins your new cabinet and some bathroom flooring(mild case) you pay a lot more than $80… but another $80 to me. I am simply painting a picture here.

Buy the faucet from a plumber, and all these “I hate the plumber" calls go away. Let me explain more clearly. Box store parts make great plumbers look bad.
